Printing to PDF Causes 'Evaluation' Errors to Appear

When trying to print a document to PDF using PDF Advantage, the following error message appears: This is a full functional unregistered version for evaluation only. A "Trail" Watermark is automatically inserted in each page. You can register PDF Driver online or by FAX.


This Error message may mean the driver was not completely registered during installation. To fix the problem, you must complete the following steps:

  1. Uninstall HotDocs PDF Advantage.
  2. Restart the computer.
  3. Reinstall HotDocs PDF Advantage.
  4. Wait about 30 seconds. (This wait has, in some cases, allowed the registration process to complete where otherwise it might have been interrupted by a restart (as prompted by the installation program).)
  5. Restart the computer.

Timing issues such as this have been addressed in PDF Advantage 2005 and later.
